Afrosonics raising money for tour, vinyl and mentorship programs

Click to go to Afrosonics Indiegogo campaign Afrosonics have been making music in Boise for 6 years, now it's time to spread the love beyond Boise with our new album People Meet Your People. The album is finished and has been propelling the band to new heights already but to really get people to connect with our message we need to do 3 things, get the music on the radio in multiple cities, spend some time on the road & continue to expand our work in the New American community to help them tell their stories through music.

Summer Tour

We are booking dates for our summer tour, we have a few things lined up but more to come. 5/26 The Analog Portland - with Radio Phoenix and My Siamese Twin 5/28 Folklife Festival - Seattle 8/9 Alive After 5 Helena, MT 8/11 or 12 John's Alley - Moscow, ID Lot's of other dates in the works, these are just the conformed ones. Here's a taste of what we're taking on the road.

Sonic Night, an Afrosonics Christmas

We were proud to be part of the 6th annual Idahohoho compilation which raises tens of thousands of $$$ for the Idaho food bank every year. We were also honored to be invited to perform live on the air on 94.9 The River, here is the video of the stripped down Afrosonics rockin' it on the air.

Our Tiny Desk Concert submission

We did a pretty cool version of our song Mosaic for NPR's Tiny Desk Concert. We didnt win but we were chosen by Boise State Radio as the best ensemble entry in Idaho. Not bad!
